LAFONTAINE PICKS UP THREE MORE ENDORSEMENTS
Florida Nurses Association, Florida Progressive Coalition
And Florida Consumer Action Network Back Democrat in District 92 House Race
Oakland Park – Democratic Florida House candidate Mark LaFontaine picked up three more endorsements in his bid for the District 92 seat – the Florida Nurses Association PAC, the Florida Progressive Coalition, and the Florida Consumer Action Network.
“I’m reaching out to all segments of our community, and I’m earning support because people know I’ve been fighting for them at the grassroots level for years,” LaFontaine said. “On Election Day, the people of District 92 will elect someone to represent them, not lobbyists in Tallahassee .”
The Florida Nurses Association is the only state organization that advocates for nurses regardless of nursing specialty or practice setting, because nurses are the gateway to a healthier nation. Owner of a successful accounting practice based in Oakland Park , LaFontaine is a board member of Oakland Park Main Street , which is guiding that city’s development, and also has been a member of the Fort Lauderdale Audit Advisory Board, which oversees the city’s finances. He promises to help bring fiscal accountability to Tallahassee and to continue reforms of property taxes and insurance.
